Setting the benchmark for hydro-mechanical diagnostics, the Delphi sealed rail kit provides simple, low-cost, on-vehicle test capability for all makes of Common Rail pumps and injectors. 

YDT850 -  Because Common Rail systems operate at extremely high pressures, any loss in pressure will have a knock-on effect on the vehicle – causing a progressive reduction in power and even a complete engine shut down. It is therefore imperative that any such issues are identified and resolved as early as possible. We have just the answer. Our Sealed Rail diagnostic kit, part number YDT850, provides simple, low-cost on-vehicle capability for all makes of Common Rail pumps and injectors. Consisting of a sealed rail pressure tester and injector back leakage measurement equipment, users can check the pressure being generated by a Common Rail pump and identify individual injectors that fail, meaning only faulty components will need to be replaced.

YDT410A - Designed to work in conjunction with the Sealed Rail diagnostic kit, the False Actuator kit, part number YDT410, enables interrogation of the pump when a reduction in Common Rail system pressure has been identified. Simply fit the false actuator when maximum pressure cannot be generated using the sealed rail and vehicle actuator, to allow the pump to generate full system pressure. If the pump generates the correct pressure, then the vehicle actuator is considered faulty and should be replaced. On the other hand, if the pressure is still below the required level then there is a mechanical failure within the pump. Most modern diesel injectors will need an ECU Correction Code (IMA, C2i-C3i, QR).

When replacing a Diesel Common Rail injector, it is necessary to register the Correction Code, located on the upper part of the injector, into the vehicles ECU.

The Correction Code is used to compensate injector production tolerances, this ensures the ECU balances the injector output to optimise performance and efficiency.
