Merlin Diesel Systems Ltd—an industry leader with over 70 years of expertise in diesel fuel injection—is looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive growth across all automotive market sectors.

You’ll be representing an internationally recognised brand, partnering with top names like Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Perkins, Stanadyne, and Continental. From our HQ in Preston, we supply over 100 countries worldwide and continue to invest in new products and technologies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the South of England
  • Promote and sell our extensive product range to new and existing customers
  • Create and present tailored proposals and quotations
  • Use CRM tools to plan and manage your pipeline
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular sales updates and forecasts

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in sales is essential – automotive or engineering sector experience with diesel fuel injection knowledge preferred.
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, and target-driven
  • Confident communicator who excels in face-to-face meetings
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
