MPC 175 Cambox

The Merlin 175 cambox is available for testing bucket & roller tappet type fuel pumps and unit injectors. 24mm test cam lift with special profiles to engine manufacturers specification can also be supplied.Up to 4 pumps with similar cam lift can be tested and balanced at any one time utilizing the full available test bench driving power and flywheel inertia.Alternatively the cambox can be pre-assembled with any combination of 4 different cam lifts giving greater flexibility and reducing time spent changing cams to suit pump types.Individual cam followers can be isolated from the drive when testing a single cylinder pump only.Features include compact design and ease of access to the adjustable plunger for precise setting of pump 'A' dimension, high tensile strength camshafts, heavy duty bearings and drive coupling.All heavy duty camboxes are pressure lubricated from the test stand lube oil supply.This cambox is also available in 1 and 3 cylinder versions.
